Just for a test we show a photo of a crankshaft seal in bad condition.
Remember that even if your engine has done very few kilometers or miles the age of the seals is around a half century.
Next photo shows a strange way to repair a SACHS200 engine. The piston and conrod are welded, and the crankcase has been repaired with melted lead, a big piece of cork and some kind of Araldite. And yes, the engine was running like that untill the piston was broken again and made another hole in the crankcase.
